42/45 IB
Strong senior academic result across demanding IB subjects.
Brisbane-based · online across Queensland
I start with a diagnostic to find where the student is losing marks and why. That gives us a clear starting point for tutoring.
If tutoring continues, the $49 comes off the first session or package.
Strong academic results do not automatically make someone a good tutor. But they do show that I understand the level of precision, workload, and exam technique required in demanding senior STEM subjects.
Strong senior academic result across demanding IB subjects.
Direct experience with one of the most challenging high school maths courses.
Currently studying Bachelor of Mathematics at the University of Queensland.
Familiar with selective IB schooling and senior academic expectations.
Verified for working with students.
Before ongoing tutoring, the student completes a focused diagnostic so the first session is based on evidence, not guesswork.
Short pre-session snapshot
The student completes a focused 15-25 minute task or sends recent classwork, homework, or assessment feedback for review.
Jasper reviews it
I check topic gaps, working quality, recurring error patterns, and where marks are being lost.
45-minute consultation
We meet online to discuss the findings, work through live questions, and clarify the student’s main priorities.
Study plan provided
You receive a practical study plan and recommendation for subject focus or tutoring frequency.
The $49 diagnostic is credited toward ongoing tutoring if the student continues.
ABOUT JASPER
I’m Jasper de Wytt, a QASMT graduate and UQ Mathematics student. I completed the IB with a 42/45, including 7s in Maths AA HL, Chemistry HL, and Physics SL.
I start by finding where the student is getting stuck. We then work through the relevant ideas and practise the kinds of questions they will face in class and assessment.
I also have experience mentoring high-achieving STEM students through the National Youth Science Forum, where I returned as a Student Staff Leader after participating as an alumnus.
I like slowing difficult problems down with students so we can see where their reasoning breaks down and what they should practise next.
Maths IA won second place in the 2025 Queensland Science Competition.
Received a distinction in the Australian Chemistry Olympiad.
Chemistry Extended Essay was highly commended in the 2025 Queensland Science Competition.
Two years of tutoring senior students in Maths, Chemistry, and Physics.
Additional academic background includes Optiver FutureFocus, Queensland Brain Bee team winner, International Chemistry Quiz High Distinctions, an Australian Institute of Physics Certificate for Excellence in Physics and QASMT academic honour awards.

The diagnostic checks what the student understands now and where marks are being lost. I then turn those findings into a practical study plan.
Yes. If the student continues with ongoing tutoring, the $49 diagnostic fee is credited toward tutoring.
Ongoing 1:1 tutoring costs $89/hour. After the diagnostic, I’ll recommend whether occasional 1:1 support, a 5- or 10-session package, or a small group makes sense for the student.
Tutoring is primarily online. Jasper is Brisbane-based, with limited in-person availability by arrangement for nearby Toowong or surrounding families.
Yes. I tutor advanced IB and QCE STEM subjects, including Maths AA, Specialist Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Chemistry, and Physics.
Tutoring can improve understanding, confidence, study structure, and exam technique, but I don’t guarantee specific grades. I focus on finding what is holding the student back and what they should work on next.
